estled
in the golden coast of the Sea of Cortés, only 14km away from Los
Barriles on the East Cape which is less than 60 miles from the San José
International Airport, Punta Pescadero offers an elegant and secluded
setting with architecture and hospitality reminiscent of the grand early
California Haciendas. This beautiful resort is held purposely smal; and
offers 21 intimate oceanfront rooms with private balconies, minibar, a/c,
satellite TV, etc. Guests at Punta Pescadero may pursue a wealth of sporting
activities, including tennis, snorkeling in the warm, azure waters or
visit the sea lions. Archaeological tours to the prehistoric paintings
can also be arranged.
Of course, one may just relax with a leisurely reading in the library,
in the fresh water pool or the bar with it's large TV screen. Meals presented
by local chefs complete the experience in the romantic solitude of the
dining room. Guests who came for the first time some 30 years ago are
coming back every year to enjoy the attentive and familiar service of
Punta Pescadero. Many fly their own plane and utilize the 3500' paved
airstrip reserved exclusively for hotel guests. Experienced fisherman
have called this place "the point of the fisherman" since Punta
Pescadero offers world-class fishing featuring dorado, marlin, sailfish,
tuna and roosterfish.
From greeting you at the airport, catering to your every need, to making
you a part of the family, the staff at Punta Pescadero will provide you
with the personal service you require to make your vacation a dream come
true.
Punta Pescadero resort, with it's quietly refined pleasures, is truly
one of Southern Baja California's best-kept secrets.

Our normal weather range is
70º-85º F. Humidity in the summer is about 65%, ocean temperature hits
a high of 84º in the fall and a low of 68º by the end of winter. It seldom
rains and November through March can be breezy, but the days remain sunny.

July and August are hot but best for fishing. September is our rainy
season. Late October, early November, and the last part of march are very
nice transitional periods, in the spring, April, May and the beginning
of June are great for fishing as well.
